Hey! My name*s Lacey-- I am 22 years old.. Almost 23 years old, I currently live in Pennyslvania. I was born and raised here all my life. I have an amazing man who is in the Marines. I love my Pvt very much. I am living at home with my parents while my man is in the U.S Marines. He is currently stationed in Iraq. I am currently surviving this deployment with him & it*s hard and yes it sucks but it*s so worth it. I cannot I am await*n the day i can see him again & that i no longer have to share him with the military, even though I love the Marines its a hard lifestyle very stressful as you all know. Thats pretty much the basics on me nothing to special if ya wanna know anything else just ask.

Yes, the military can be fun...and confusing, overwhelming, frustrating, exciting, and every other emotion in the book! But I think that the best thing I did for myself was to join this forum and others like it. The ladies are SO supportive and helpful. Hope you like it!

By the way, you may want to take out the part in your first post that says where in Iraq he is. I believe, according to OPSEC, you can say he's in Iraq but we're not supposed to say where in Iraq...always better to be safe than sorry...

yeah.. i wasn*t paying attention to what i was typing when i put that in there. oops!

i seriously don*t wanna put him or his unit in danger at all. he*s too much of a sweetheart

and has been my best friend since him & i were both 8 years old. but yeah i*d rather keep him safe more than anything else though.

yeah. i know time will fly by & pretty soon this deployment will all be over. i definitely wouldnt give up this relationship for anything though in the world even though my crazy ex wont stay out of of my life. he keeps contacting my cellphone because he wants me back & i dont want anything to do with him at all because i'm with my marine & i'm committed & faithful to him now & also because i dont wanna change guys at all, I love who I'm with now & He's been my best friend for years & I'm not gett'n out of this relationship with him just because of my ex & what he says.

believe me i'm super glad i have u girls on here to keep me sane while i'm overcoming this deployment with my boyfriend even though the ex is driving me nuts & wont back off but that's okay, because when my marine sees him, he'll make him back off of me! lol.

i swear i think my ex think*s he owns me or something & it*s just really lame of him to be act'n like this because it*s just really frustrating!!
